Milan Ehrhardt, music catalogue acquisition, London

I'm based in London and currently pursuing my first music catalogue acquisition, focusing on authentic local artists that the big funds structurally can't touch.

Before this, I spent years in London's prime property market at Sotheby's and Chestertons. During this time, I handled everything from managing 40 unit new-build developments in Cape Town, to short-let portfolios, and negotiating headline deals such as a £60k per month property in Regent’s Park.

I also consult, write about music royalties, technology and what's actually happening in this market. If any of that overlaps with what you're working on, let's talk.

Beyond the Catalogue

During COVID, Milan launched Founders House (Listen here) a podcast where I spoke with startup founders to help students learn how to land their dream job. That experience sparked my interest in how startups scale, how founders build products, and how technology is reshaping industries.

I also support The Zoe Project, a non-profit that provides maternal health care programmes supporting vulnerable women, girls and babies in the Western Cape. In my free time, I make music for short films.

I live in London, but am originally from Cape Town, South Africa.

Whether it's music, consulting, or something in between, I'm always open to interesting conversations with interesting people. Drop me a line.
